Unborn child's heart beating
The human fetal heart begins to beat at 21 days.
The heart beat can not be detected by doppler until 10 weeks after conception. The video shows the heart of an unborn child clearly beating.
Day 21: The heart begins to beat with the child's own blood, which is often a different type than the mother's.
Imagine!
Jesus grew in the womb of His mother, just like each of us.
At 21 days the fetal heart begins to beat.
What a union of Love was theirs! The Sacred Heart first beating beneath her Immaculate Heart!
At only 5 weeks gestation, baby Jesus’ Sacred Heart, brain, and spinal cord nerve cells were developing. External features are also beginning to form during this rapid time of growth. These things started to happen before most women even know that they are pregnant. Mary knew because the Angel Gabriel came to ask her if she was willing to become the mother of God.
Baby Jesus’ heart starts pumping oxygen-rich blood cells from mom very early on, and by the eighth week it was beating regularly about 160 times a minute. You may have heard this precious sound of a fetal heartbeat through an ultrasound. On average, between fertilization and birth, a baby’s heart will beat approximately 54 million times!
O most holy heart of Jesus,
fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins, I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Grant that I may always cherish Your gift of Life.
